Brazil to Face Scotland in World Cup 2026 Group Stage Match

Brazil to Face Scotland in FIFA World Cup Group C Match on Wednesday

A match between Brazil and Scotland is scheduled for Wednesday at 6pm (22:00 GMT) at the Miami Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The teams will be competing in Group C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Brazil currently leads the group with four points, while Scotland has three points after their opening game against Haiti. If Brazil wins or draws against Scotland and Morocco fail to beat Haiti, they will secure a spot in the round of 32 as group winners.

Neymar, who was recalled to the Brazilian national team despite not being part of coach Carlo Ancelotti’s initial plans, is available for the match. However, his fitness and form remain under scrutiny due to past injury troubles and an underwhelming spell at Santos.

Scotland aims to reach the knockout stages of a major international tournament for the first time. The team will finish at least third in the group, but needs a point to guarantee qualification if not already achieved.

The match between Brazil and Scotland will be their fifth encounter at a World Cup, with Brazil having won all previous encounters since 1974. Opta predicts that Brazil has a 68.1 percent chance of winning the match.

Scotland captain Andrew Robertson hopes to give his team’s supporters something to celebrate in the match. The Tartan Army, Scotland’s supporters, have been praised for their passion by locals during their group stage matches in Boston, Massachusetts.
