FIFA World Cup 2026 Schedule Released for North America
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. A total of 48 teams will participate in the tournament, competing in 104 matches.
A widget has been provided to help fans determine their team’s match schedule in local time. The event marks a significant milestone for the FIFA World Cup, as it is the largest tournament in history.
Historically, eight different teams have won the men’s FIFA World Cup since its inception in 1930. Brazil has claimed the title five times: in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002. Mexico has previously hosted the tournament twice, in 1970 and 1986, while the United States last hosted in 1994.
This year’s edition will be notable for Canada’s first co-hosting role. The winning team will receive a record $50 million in prize money, along with an 18-carat gold-plated trophy. A graphic illustrating the growth of prize money from $2.2 million in 1982 to $50 million in 2026 is also available.
Fans can access more information and follow updates on the tournament through various channels.
