One killed in Hezbollah attack in northern Israel region

A Rocket Attack in Northern Israel Kills One Person

A rocket attack by Hezbollah has resulted in the death of at least one person in northern Israel. The incident occurred on Sunday in the community of Misgav Am, where a rocket barrage targeted an area with Israeli soldiers present.

According to reports, two vehicles were struck by the rocket, causing fires that engulfed both vehicles. A man was pronounced dead after being found in his vehicle, but his identity has not been confirmed. The incident marks the first reported death from fire originating in Lebanon since the US-Israel conflict on Iran began over three weeks ago.

Israel has increased its military presence in southern Lebanon, where a ground invasion has resulted in over 1,000 deaths and more than one million displaced people since the conflict resumed earlier this month. Israeli air raids have targeted various locations in Lebanon, including homes and shops in the southern district of Tyre.

Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for several attacks on Israeli forces, including in the border town of Taybeh and strategic town of Khiam. The group also stated that its fighters had repeatedly targeted Israeli soldiers and vehicles near these areas.

In a separate development, the Israeli military announced that it had killed a commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force and two others in an air strike in southern Lebanon. Additionally, the military claimed to have targeted a Hamas operative who was allegedly involved in financing the group’s activities in Lebanon and other locations.
