Brazil nearly scored again before halftime, but a VAR check overturned a potential second goal for the Brazilians due to a foul by one of their players. In the second half, Brazil continued to press for more goals, with Bruno Guimaraes providing two assists, including one that set up Matheus Cunha for his third goal of the tournament.

Neymar made his first appearance in a Brazil shirt since October 2023, coming on as a substitute. The 34-year-old forward was met with cheers from the crowd, marking a significant moment for the team. Alisson remained a key player in goal, denying Scotland one last chance in the dying minutes to keep a clean sheet.

The win marked a successful conclusion to Brazil’s group stage campaign, and they will now move on to the knockout stages of the World Cup.
