Movable Taskbar Coming to Windows 11 After Five Years
Microsoft is bringing back a long-requested feature from previous versions of Windows: the ability to move the taskbar to the top or sides of your screen. This change comes as part of a larger set of updates aimed at addressing growing criticism about the operating system’s performance, reliability, and user experience. Pavan Davuluri, head of Windows, said in a statement that “repositioning the taskbar is one of the top asks we’ve heard from you.” As such, Microsoft is introducing this new functionality to make it easier for users to personalize their workspace.
