Apple Boosts Trade-In Offers and Adds New Android Devices to Incentivize Device Recycling and Upgrades

Apple has enhanced its trade-in program, increasing the value of various devices and introducing new options for users looking to upgrade or recycle their existing gadgets. The changes apply to iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, and certain Android phones, with some devices now commanding a significant premium. The most substantial increase can be seen in the Mac Studio, where the trade-in value has jumped by $260. While some devices have experienced only minor adjustments, many others have received moderate boosts ranging from $5 to $20. Conversely, select models have seen more pronounced increases exceeding $100. Among these revised offers are notable price hikes for Apple’s MacBook Pro and Mac Pro models, with the former now worth $855, up from its previous value of $690. Similarly, the Mac Pro has gained $150 in trade-in value, increasing to $2,195. Furthermore, Apple is expanding its trade-in program to include a range of new Android devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.
