US President Trump to Meet Ukrainian Leader Zelenskyy in Switzerland

According to reports, the meeting is expected to take place as it happened earlier this week. The Guardian reported that Zelenskyy’s meeting with Trump was initially set for Wednesday but was rescheduled for Thursday.

In a separate development, CNBC stated that “abnormal hatred” between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Zelenskyy has made it challenging to reach a peace deal in Ukraine. However, this statement is not directly related to the scheduled meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy.

The New York Times reported that Zelensky will meet with Trump at Davos Forum to discuss a potential peace deal for Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the BBC stated that ending the war with Russia is largely dependent on one issue, according to US envoy.
