US Intelligence Report Confirms No Change in Iran’s Missile Capabilities Before War
According to a report, US intelligence agencies did not observe any significant changes in Iran’s missile capabilities before the 2020 military strikes on Iranian targets. The information was revealed during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.
Representative Tulsi Gabbard testified that she had informed President Trump about her concerns regarding Iran’s missile program prior to the war. However, when questioned by senators about the intelligence she provided, Gabbard declined to elaborate.
Separately, Senator Tom Cotton stated that while the Iranian regime is “degraded,” it remains intact. This statement was made during a Senate Intelligence hearing where representatives from various agencies testified on worldwide threats.
The US military conducted strikes on multiple Iranian targets in January 2020, citing concerns over Iran’s missile capabilities and regional influence. The operation aimed to deter future aggression and protect American interests.
Representatives from the intelligence community did not provide any information about changes in Iran’s missile program before the war.
