Israel Conducts Drone Attacks on Lebanon Amid Renewed Ceasefire Agreement
A series of drone attacks was carried out by Israel in Lebanon, following an agreement to renew a ceasefire. The incident occurred after talks between the United States and Iran resulted in no progress, but maintained open communication channels.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that discussions with the US have not led to any breakthroughs. However, he emphasized that dialogue remains ongoing despite increased tensions between Washington and Tehran.
Araghchi also defended Iran’s recent attacks on US allies in the Gulf region, describing them as self-defence measures. He cautioned that further sanctions or military action would not compel Iran to alter its stance.
In a separate development, Kuwait reported that Iranian missile and drone attacks on Wednesday resulted in one fatality and over 60 injuries. The incident highlights ongoing tensions between regional nations.
Details of the Israeli drone attacks on Lebanon are currently being verified. The situation remains fluid as diplomatic efforts continue to unfold.
